This is a small handmade test batch I made right after my avocado bars.
The Slip Bar is the first product I’m developing with my manufacturer, but I wanted to make a few myself to test the feel, the slip, and the results in real life before the official release.

What It Is

A solid, creamy “slip” bar made to help soften, smooth, and make hair easier to detangle and manage especially on wash day.

Think: glide, not tug.

Ingredients

Coconut Milk (rich, creamy base)
Distilled Water (for texture and blend)
Shea Butter (moisture + structure)
Olive Oil (softness)
Castor Oil (shine + slip support)
Marshmallow Root Extract (slip + soothing feel)
Slippery Elm Bark Powder (slip + conditioning feel)
Essential Oil Blend (light scent, optional)

How to Use

Option 1: Direct application (most slip)

1. Wet hair and hands.

2. Glide the bar between your hands to warm it slightly.

3. Apply the product to sections of hair, focusing on mid-lengths to ends.

4. Detangle gently and rinse (or leave a small amount in if your hair likes it).

Option 2: Hands-first

1. Rub the bar between wet hands until you get a creamy layer.

2. Smooth onto hair, detangle, then rinse.

Pro Tips

• Use on soaking wet hair for the best glide.

• Work in sections. Let the bar do the work.

• Pair with your shampoo bar, then follow with your usual routine.

Storage

To extend the life of your bar:

• Keep it on a soap dish with drainage

• Store it dry between uses

• Don’t leave it sitting in water
